If you're new to journaling, or simply looking to have someone else guide your thoughts, use these journal prompts. I'll rank from beginner to advanced, and add prompts regularly.

  • Who Am I? Start thinking about adjectives that you feel most accurately describe who you are.
  • What are 7 things that you love about yourself?
  • What are 3 things you want to change about your circumstances?
  • Who are the 5 most important people in my life and what role do they play? How does our relationship make me feel?
  • On a scale of 1 - 10, 1 being depressed and 10 being exuding happiness from ever pore, how happy are you on a day to day basis? Why do you think this?
  • What do you want to be known for when you die?
  • If money wasn't an issue, what would you do with your life?
  • Do you feel stuck in any areas of your life, is yes - where? Ask yourself why.
